Any record collector / John Cage fans in he-yuh?

I recently found John Cage's recording debut, "Piano Compositions by Alan Hovaness and John Cage". It's a 1947 recording on two 78rpm records. It's on the Disc New York label, 3058A. The cover has a black and white, kinda Shel Silverstein-ish drawing of NYC apartment buildings, it's kinda beat, but the records are mint.

I have no idea the value of such a thing, I've been looking everywhere, but it looks to be a really neat piece. Anybody know where I should go next? Should I post it on eBay, or do collectors not like to look there?

unfortunately i dont have any specific info on that particular piece, but from my previous experience working at a record store, i doubt that it's worth anything extraordinary. most i can see it fetching is probably $50 to a private collector. IIRC, 78s also require a special stylus. Is it a 78rpm vinyl record or is it made of shellac?

It's shellac. Knowing my luck, it probably is $50 max, but I've seen John Cage records online go up to $100-250. This one only has one 78rpm side with him, but it's his debut and features prepared piano. I think it's kinda a neat novelty to have Cage on 78rpm, this came out right before vinyl made it's mainstream debut.
