Members Operator
Have you played one? What are they like? What's the neck and fret situation?
Members royal crxsh johnson
i have one. i like it, but it's different from what i normally play. the neck is very thin, not a lot of meat on the back of it, like a shallow u. the fretboard is almost completely flat, i would say between 12-16" radius. the middle position on the pickup selector is the only one you'll use. Members Dolf
I like them a great deal. That being said, quality and (more importantly) sound are all over the freaking place from model to model. JME, of course

Ahh that's a bummer; I really like necks with meat. About the pickups, does that mean they don't sound good individually, or just that the combination sounds great. Members outtahear
Skinnier(narrower) necks than an old one. Sonically, pretty close.
Members Moustache_Bash
This one has a rosewood bridge, so I don't know if it's the same thing or not. http://www.amazon.com/Danelectro-Original-Factory-Reissue-Electric/dp/B003TOG4YU/ref=sr_1_30?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1326061237&sr=1-30 Will this have a baby-status neck? Members 9520575
The first guitar I learned on was one of those.well not exactly one of those, a silver tone from sears. I have fond memories when I see this style, I played it with my boss rdd-20 (microrack) delay. Those were the days...

Members Scoogs
I have one and it plays exceptionally well. And yes, the middle position is the best sound you'll get. The bridge is very ice-picky. The neck isn't too bad.
