Members stratedge09
I'm thinking of getting a tremolo and need one with tap tempo. Any suggestions? Also, where do you guys usually put your trem in your signal chain?
Members BrentMpls
where do you guys usually put your trem in your signal chain? Usually at the end - after other modulation, but before reverb. if you NEED tap, and don't mind lack of battery option, i'd check this out:http://www.copilotfx.com/polypus.html
Members notjonahbutnoah
Tap tempo trem, I'd go with the Empress, if you don't need insane ramp ing tones and one million wave shapes. I put mine after dirt, but before reverb and delay. In my chain it's wah>phaser>dirt dirt boost>trem>verb>delay

Members GREC
I use my buddy's Seymour Duncan Shape Shifter. Very versatile tremolo. Tap tempo & ratio. Gets even those creepy sounds of real old amp tremolos. Not sure if they still sell these though. http://www.seymourduncan.com/products/stompboxes/sfx07_shape_shi/

Members theroan
The Shape Shifter is a sleeper pedal. Super affordable, tons of features and sounds awesome.
Members scolfax
Not really on-topic, but I was really surprised at how great the tremolo sounds on the Yamaha THR practice/recording amps. I'd be interested in a pedal that had *that* sound.

Members Zappa74
I'd get that catalinbread even though it's way too complex for me.

Members IRG
I would check out the new Stutterbox from SolidGoldFX. Revamped from the one I have, seems really cool. Tap tempo now plus a bunch of different waveforms. Seems pretty versatile, while still simple to use. The old one is on their website, the new one was shown on Facebook. Might be worth waiting for. Members echodeluxe
god, im such a haggard old purist. give me a tr-2 and im set. those trems all sound cool, but id never use all those options.
Members shardy
Agreed. And BTW Joyo, Rogue and Delta Tremolos are all derivates of TR-2 if im not mistaking without the volume drop and woth a sweet smooth sine wave. But If I can choose, Id take Red Witch Eve Tremolo as most hypnotic and warm.
Members ChuckNorris1982
The Cusack is the one that always interested me the most. I kinda want one but I don't use trem enough to justify the price tag.

Trem is my favourite (non-dirt) effect and I've gone through dozens of them... Empress, Semaphore, Goatkeeper, Lovetone Wobulator, etc., etc,... What do I use? A Boss PN-2.
