so since I had my pickguard cutting set up together, I decided to cut this one from a record and see how it looks on my refinished late 90s SG Jr.

I have already changed the knobs while the pics were loaded to some old black witch hate amp knobs

It was fairly hard to get a pic that works, and the flash on my iphone was all "blushy" for some reason, so I kept switching between flash off and on

The pickguard still needs a hand sanding around the edges to even out the curves and get the bevel more consistent all the way around.

Damn thats awesome

I have a deep love for SGs

when I was a broke warehouse worker going to college in 96-98, a local music store had these Epi Sg Jr. p90 guitars for $99 on clearance and I wanted the yellow one but missed out... that stock p90 is surprisingly decent and growly, and a fun guitar for standard tuning rocking out.

You have a pit bull on your SG

some type of terrier, but not pitbull... his name was Nipper... pitbulls generally don't just nip if they bite

and dont get all pittbully on me, my wife and I help foster pitbulls so I know they are all the bad and all the good that they are known for

 it's well known Nippy was a pit bull. Our pit nips all the time.

That looks awesome, I have one of those guitars too, I haven't played it for years, after seeing your pictures, maybe a re-vamp is in order
:)

if it is from the late 90s, go for it. I have played a few and they seem to be decent like this one. I think the paint was $5 and the record was .10 cents [damaged, at goodwill] best $55.10 guitar I have seen in a while
