Members BrentMpls
After fuzz for a fuller sound with more control, before fuzz for more ripping lead kinda tone. Or without fuzz for some boost/breakup.

Phil O'Keefe
There are three different ways that I typically use boost pedals: In front of dirt boxes to slam the input and make them sound even nastier. As a boost to send an "on the edge" tube amp over the cliff and into full overdrive. As a clean boost or "lead level boost" at the end of the chain to increase volume levels for solos, etc. This works best with amps that have some clean headroom available. Members Player99
Would you ever use a compressor pedal at the end of the chain for the solo boost? Or would it bring in too much noise with it?
Members valvestate
I do this as what Phil mentioned:In front of dirt boxes to slam the input and make them sound even nastier. I use my Danelectro Transparent Overdrive. Fulltone FDII or Bad Monkey for this. LEVEL MAX . GAIN = 0As a clean boost or "lead level boost" at the end of the chain to increase volume levels for solos, etc. I remembered that I had a VS True Tone boost for this function and a MXR Micro Amp. Members thecakeguru
I use one first in line to drive and add some high end, and one in my effects loop to color my tone in a pleasing way.. Get the original tc spark booster though... as neat as this one looks, I really liked the functionality of the three position toggle... very versatile.. almost bought one myself..
