Members Ancient Mariner
Anyone else get an email from Donner deal today? I've never knowingly done business with them, so I assume this contact came through WTF accessories whom I bought some Mooer & Joyo pedals from last year. Has anyone tried the Xing Eno pedals? They look like mooers with different paint, but who knows what's inside. They are also a bit less subtle with their 'cloning', actually putting OCD on a white mini pedal and calling a black distortion a Rat. Good value, but any good? Who knows? Members mchad
I got one. I went onto their website. That was my first mistake. There, before my eyes was a pedal called the Bowlinger GT2.c. What struck me most was it's brazen similarity to the Sansamp GT2 pedal in terms of design and features. But what tipped me over the edge was the word "Sansamp" stamped on it. Good Lord Sir! Is the word subtle not mentioned in the effects pedal builders dictionary!
Members Ancient Mariner
I saw that too. Subtlety does seem a little absent in the minds of these cloners. Conversely I'm quite interested in the NU-X timeforce delay, which doesn't seem to be a clone of anything. Wish it had a reverb patch instead of echo with warbly modulation. Members baob
They've recently announced an Octaver which is not a direct clone of a Mooer, separate volume controls for -2, -1, instrument and +
Members V
Serious question: Can Brian Eno sue them form using his name? He's a music producer/equipment pioneer after all.
