I saw Jucifer last night. The guitar player was using a Bass VI copy into somekind of Boss OD, a DIY fuzz pedal, and a BBE Boosta Grande going to Marshall and Ampeg heads feeding a {censored}ing huge wall of Ampeg cabs.

Yeah, it was loud.

Oh yeah.... I forgot to mention that I use 14-58 sets tuned to Full C.... I could get away with 13's, if I used a 25.5" scale, but SG's need thicker strings to feel right....

....and I use lower wattage amps..... I'm not playing MSG without a PA.... so I need lower power so that I can turn them up loud enough to breath, without pissing people off....

That's a power supply.

I got the Supercollider used from a guy who bought it and didn't like it. 2 weeks old, lower price and no waiting period.
:)
Sorry I can't help. I hear other people are having problems getting in touch with him about the new Beast version too. I'm sure he's just swamped right now.

Not the DC-Brick! I know what that is! :thu: D'oh.. nevermind.... now that I look again... I see that it is all the Valve Drive. When I first looked at it, I thought the Valve Drive was not connected to the top portion that had the knobs... D'OH! I wasn't paying close attention and thought the Valve Drive just had 'buttons' and the thing with knobs above it was something else.... they are one in the same and I am HALF BLIND... actually I think I was half a sleep when I was looking at that!!!!

My bad!! Anyway, let us know how you like the Supercollider.

Enjoy,

Vid

Now that you mention it, the part that slopes down between the switches and the knobs does blend really well with the board. It kinda does look like 2 pedals.

Anyone here have an opinion on the Supercollider? How's it work for Stoner Metal? Really looking forward to getting it. I've wanted one ever since the whole Bluebeard ordeal a few months back.

Here's my amps--that's about 300 watts RMs....1980 Fender 140, 70's Traynor Reverb Master, 1971 Univox U1011/ U2080. It's all the original GE/ RCA/ Mullards in the Traynor and the Univox. I've searched around the net and the pictures that I have are the only ones of the cab/ head U1011 (sometimes has an orange logo) and the cab (insanely rare to find). The two coupled together are virtually impossible to find. It still has the tag "Kelly's Sound House, Vancouver" on the back, too.

That Univox head and cabinet are the definition of sexy!
