Members MetalHed
What makes me angry, is that more people care about who advances in American Idol than any of the things he talks about. It just shows how far our society has eroded. The fact that he used some big words and talked for more than 15 seconds probably had most people that started to watch it not even able to sit through the whole thing, let alone comprehend the content..... Members knucklefux
yeah...bu$hie will go down as possibly the WORST president ever. the fact that he was reelected will not cease to disgust me. the additional fact that 30% of the population still thinks he does no wrong is beyond comprehension. one out of every three people you see thinks just like he does. no wonder this country is going to hell in a handbasket. Members thefyn
I think media is part of the problem. I recorded a show called the 10 most fascinating people of 2007 (in the US) because I was interested in who would be on it. I could not believe that Justin Timberlake, David and Victoria Beckham and Imus were on it!!!! WTF??? David Beckham? He is a simpleton! It was a serious program too. In the UK Becks jokes replaced Blonde jokes he is so vapid. The media tells you Justim Timberlake is the {censored} when genuine pop artist that are any good are ignored because of demographics. Members mooktank
Sometimes I think Olbermann is sort of an actor with his anger. I think he's right, just a little sketchy. We as Americans think we have the right to restrict knowledge on how to build nuclear weapons. What a joke man. This is KNOWLEDGE. And FWIW, I don't beleive it's even that hard. You enrich Uranium and shoot a neutron at it and unregulated it blows up. It's just like a powerplant chain reaction out of control. No one needs a nuke including the US. We should dismantle ours to show them they don't need them. Shouldn't this be in the political party?

Members HKSblade1
The people DO decide where the country goes! The PEOPLE keep re-electing congress and other branch for leadership change and never get it. Officials promise things, don't keep their promises and still get re-elected Hmmm is that the official's fault?? Corruptions, lobbyist payoffs, in campaigns all noted by almost every govt official. We are aware of these things but people press the YES button instead of NO. IOW, WE do not hold our leadership ACCOUNTABLE. We have the authority and power of the button to make changes to our government. If we keep the same leadership and never give the lesser guy a chance to prove his worth, well. Same ole same ole We buy and sell the goods from those said (sad) leaders whose message is "strong" but then they have no balls to get anything done in DC. You want change??? Change the entire Govt and stop re-electing dead end leaders. 8- 10 terms?? time is overdue People whine but do not vote! moot point there. Members Mike Honcho
WTF is Olbermann going to do when GWB gets out of office. The only thing that 'works' for the 1/2 hour masturbation session he calls a 'show', is dogging on Dubya! He's simply a liberal preaching to the choir. Now you guys can continue with your liberal circle jerk.

Members HKSblade1
Thing that gets me??? No matter who in the media is "spouting off", we the people reject the simple nature of what we know we have in controlling govt power. Olberman, Oreilly and (pick another) have given the information and discredited many govt members including the president. Analysis varies but its not who you agree with as the information specialist as much as it should be the information you receive and digest yourself. Media members can "spin" for reaction but if the reaction is needed one should be listening and not concerned with WHO said it. IF we tell our leaders in our districts to block any attempt or we won't stand for any attempts in going to war with Iran, maybe the Pres will lay off listening to Chaney. IF we are however wrong in our assumption of Intel that can have its own consequence. For the time being, if Intel says NO reason well lay off. It's that simple. Here is my question: Is it not wrong that GWB and the administration couldn't figure out that they were 4 years behind reality, and worse, that they didn't stop the message as soon as this surfaced? No, not really wrong. I think most people are scrutinizing GWB reasons for anything and with good reason. I think we should with any leader. All the armchair QB's said Clinton should have taken out OBL when he had a chance. Ok, so what gives there? We don't know since the information and reason from either side is going to be speculative. Just have to use our gut instinct of when to call foul. This media spouting is all about timing. Elections coming and each side is going to put their spin in the laundry. This is why new leadership across the board is going to needed since long termers don't get it yet. Still they are good at selling their BS to the people and constituents. I see what you are saying, but the fact of the matter is that faces change in Washington all of the time, but the story is still the same. The whole political mechanism in this country is completely rotten from the ground up and needs to be overhauled in the worst possible way. We can all vote until we are blue in the face, but when your choices are a turd sandwich or a giant douche, it's really a lose-lose scenario no matter how it unfolds. I used to be politically active, but all it got me was disgusted with how completely lacking of anything even vaguely resembling decency most people are, be they Republican or Democrat, Liberal or Conservative. Republicans apparently lack either math skills or a conscience. They openly support running record deficits on a perpetual basis, which to me means one of two things: They lack the math skills of a third grader, as this is about the age one should start grasping the long term ramifications of such behavior. OR They find nothing wrong with running up a huge tab and then sneaking out the back door, leaving their kids and grand kids to pick up the tab, which is about as low as low gets. I could go on, but my stomach is starting to turn... Democrats are no better. They offend my slighly less than the Republicans, but this is like saying that I would rather have Multiple Sclerosis than Cancer. Neither one is acceptable, but under the current system, there are no other real choices....
Members Lambros
That's something that MSNBC would F-up if they tried because of the Imus fiasco. Members HKSblade1
problem is make it simple lawyers know how to create and manipulate verbage for those loopholes. So most leaders are lawyers and liars. reap you sow I guess No reason for a simple bill to be the size of a phonebook or take a year to get to the floor. But it is that way. I watch CSPAN and see the bills assembled mini phonebooks. Too much BS in those to get argued out. Instead it gets shoved aside or negated. Either way its too complex to move through the system. Lawyers are good at that. if it was simple enough, they couldn't sell it or themselves as a necessity. We'd know better.
