Members worldoftone
Sounds good plays great. I've played a lot of '69s and '70s. This one plays better that any of those. This came from a friend. I've actually gigged with this one before. - WOT

Members ENdtime
I find it kinda hard to believe the body is that worn, yet the pickups, pickguard and bridge look in great shape.. Is it all original??

Members worldoftone
Is it all original?? Pickups swapped out years ago. Aside from an added string tree, everything else is right. PG is acually a very rare version with the white tortoise shell as the third lamination. I know the history of this guitar going back 10-years. I know what I am talking about when it comes to Strats. Don't ask me about a Les Paul though LOL! - WOT

Members Ron Burgandy
Very nice How does it compare to your '66? I loved that guitar.
Members worldoftone
Very similar to the '66. The neck is a bit chunkier. Other than that, I'd say they are about equal. This guitar has it's own thang going on, that's for sure. - WOT

And don't you forget it! :poke: - WOT Do you have any recommendations for a quality shop that can refinish my Strat? It needs to be Sonic Blue, not cream. Members worldoftone
There is a guy in L.A. who is real good. I'll get his name for you. There is also a guy in Pflugerville, Chris Forshage. Dunno if he does refinishing or not. - WOT
Members worldoftone
I forgot how damn good this thing plays. Ears are ringin' after blasting it through my '73 Superbass at about 7. Damn, I really should do some work here. - WOT

Members Ron Burgandy
Im a jealous bitch. Every vintage Strat that WOT gets his hands on means one less vintage Strat that a collector dweeb can snatch up and lock away for good as if it was a stock certificate.
