Let's bump this {censored} up! :eek::poke::wave:

Any chance they are going to start building them (or take custom orders)? A 2 channel Matamp is exactly what I have been wanting. Also - what's the control layout - like the GT1?

Nagh man, sorry. Even if we did, it would do you any good. We're thousands of miles away!

Here are some pics and vids that we did with the GT2.

He is local to Chicago... If I had the cash, it would have been mine already! I sure wish he was interested in trades! :cry: I contacted him, but he wants cash... and I can't sell a couple of things fast enough!!!! I am selling an amp this Tuesday... If I can get the money within the next two weeks, I'll contact him and see if her still has it! (*fingers crossed*)

Oh well.... maybe next time!

Take care,

Vid

A Matamp GTL 140 just ended on Ebay with zero bids. Someone contact this guy and pick that gem up!

Yesterday, I finally pulled out the Electric amp for the first time since moving to Portland. I just pulled out the 2x12, head, and Fender bass and let our 4 year old play with the knobs while I played. She quickly learned she could play with every knob except the Master because it'd scare her to death any time she'd twist it. Her favorite was the Fuzz (gain) control and she seemed to prefer it just cranked. She'd squeal and grin when she turned that up.

But yeah, I had forgotten what a great sounding bass amp this thing is. Dirty, snarly bass tones sound awesome.

I ran my Electric with V30s, G12Ts and G12Ms.

The G12Ts drove me up a wall in person but they sounded nice recorded. Nice and chunky, but a scratchy top end and a bottom end that I found hard to control.

The V30s didn't jive IMO.... and I really like V30s.

The G12Ms were my favourite. They had a really nice response to the frequencies output by my Electric and the cone breakup was like adding another level of dirt you could control with your fingers.

I was going to try G12Hs next, but I never got around to it.

I always wanted a Laney Klipp, but the prices are wayyyy to much for what i am willing to pay.

Could this be the logical answer to my dilema ?

Any info welcome guys !

Cheers
