Oh man, i used to dig the {censored} out of Alec Empire's solo stuff. Actually a lot of the DHR stuff. I was even considering at one point, trying to figure out an elaborate mic/mixing board/distortion pedal arrangement for playing brutally distorted drumbeats live with my metal band at the time. It would have been rad, but the places we played were too mostly too small (and with too little PA) to make it work as envisioned.
