the latest is an Epi Goth V. But I have a few other than that. The worst is probably an old Tiesco or whatever. I purchased it for $35 and still feel ripped off. Had a busted tuner, could not replace with any standard sized tuners. I finally jammed some fender tuners that barely fit. Then on top of that, the damn thing won't intonate and the bridge is non adjustable. It could be a fun guitar to have if I could get this peice of {censored} to play in tune (intonation wise).

lol dude, I could have bought the ADA MP1 or that, and because it was all brightly colored LEDs and a MIDI foot pedal and had the toanz from Joe Walsh, the guys from Priest, Brad Gillis etc etc I was like "I WIN!!!"

That unit totally turned me off of noise gats for LIFE and I hated how it didn't matter what guitar I had, all I heard was the unit. Have a humbucker? Still sounds like a strat on some of the clean channels. It didn't let the guitars natural tone come through.

That being said, I just bid $20 for one (w/out the pedal) on the bay after I made that post last night. I got up this morning and it was up to $50, I was like "Well F that..."
:D

I had/have (but no longer use) the Fender M80 carpeted head with the rack spaces above that, so I used the clean channel on that as my power amp.

Geez justcrash, I'd sell you my GSP21 Pro for $20.00. I'm using it because I lost my extra blank rack panel. It's yours for the nostalgia if you want it.

When I was (much) younger I bought a new Digitech GSP21 Pro. The million fullpage ads in Guitar World and Guitar for the Practicing Musician convinced me I needed it.

My buddy had the tube digitech thingee and my pro never sounded as "cool" as his. Eventually I traded it in. THEN a week later I missed it and convinced myself it was perfect for me (again, after I already owned it once). REbought it and it still sucked.
I don't know what happened to it from there, I am sure I sold it or traded it in, I just don't know where.

Looking back on it, if I had any idea how to dial in a guitar tone then (I hadn't been playing very long, it was 90' or 91') I may have gotten something decent out of it.

Hell, posting this has made me nostalgic, I should see if I could find one.
:p

Heh!

I had the same problem in around '92, only I went with the ART SGX2000 (twice as big, had to be twice as good, right, plus it had tubes and expression pedals!).

Anyway, I played it through my plexi (I had no idea it was a plexi, I thought it was a crappy old marshall that had no "distortion" channel).

I fail.
