Members Badside
Cool, so we have a crew now!!!! I was only using one channel on my DSL, now my new clone doesn't even have a 2nd channel and I love it! (I do have two inputs, but only use the Hi one, the Plexi/800 switch is set according to the gig I'm playing) Clean = Neck pickup with volume down (installed a 2nd volume one my guitar that didn't have one) Crunch = Straight in and rock! Lead = OD pedal My lead tone is so perfect, I don't even miss reverb :love:

Members K-Bizzle
Most of the time when playing the DSL I'll only use one channel.Half the time when playing the Randall I only use the 1086. And yeah this is with the same methods as anyone else using a single channel.Volume knob, coil tapping, pup switching, and my TS808 gives me lots of options. Also my randall has a master volume solo boost which comes in handy.

Members newholland
that's all i've been using of late. volume knob and pickup selector's alright with me. which is hilarious, because i use an amp that has footswitching, reverb, a master volume, and a loop... someday, i'll just go no master volume... but only when i find the amp that does it best! Members soundgardener75
Does having two single channel amps count? Both my Ampeg and Peavey have different tones that I variate upon, but most of the time, the VTM's for cleans while the VL-501's for od.
