Members heartben
i posted something in the effects section but i thought people who hang out here might have another perspective possibly.. who knows. anyways - i was considering getting an ac30.. basically this is what im needing (i think)2x12 combo preferred must be loud enough to play live ( unmiced)tube is preferred under 1000.00sound at least "ok" at moderate / bedroom volumes ( i know some amps sound like crap quiet, im just asking for it to sound ok.)built in reverb would be nice2 channel could be useful as well, although i wont die without it. if you have suggestions let me know. i will consider them all. thanks guys! Members Brick
Check out an Egnater tourmaster. It might bust the budget a little bit new, not sure about used prices, but the one I played sounded very good

Members bass_n_drums
AC30 is excellent choice. I would recommend a Laney VH100R or Laney LH50R II
Members Bumhucker
Go with the AC30. I've never played one, but everytime I've seen someone use one live they sound great... They sound tits when they start to break up.

Members telephant
Valvetech or a used AC30CC. AC30 excells at indie stuff and when you get it cranked up and crunching, hit it with a boost and it will {censored}ing rock your balls.

Members Ron Burgandy
AC30 for sure. Buy a ProCo Rat for your dirt, or just be prepared to make your ears bleed. It will sound great either way.
