( Nike,Puma.,etc.) when winter comes i have an expensive pair of wolverines i tromp around in.mountian boot.and sweats.insole liners (fleece.)dont care about looks,just warmth.. Chucks also are just too non-supportive to be comfortable on me. Skechers fit great, but I don't want to wear Skechers:facepalm: I'm old dammit. Vans (the padded skate ones) also fit great, but they make my feet too hot. I suspect the non-padded Vans might be like the Chucks. Bah. You dang shoes get off my lawn *shakes cane at all the stylish shoes* New Balance has always fit me, but the usual styles are not my favorite. I've never seen that pair shown on page 1 for example. Maybe Zappos is the ticket. Btw, for all you people stuck at work with "pointy lizard shoes" (ie, dress shoes) and hate them, try Clarks. Mine are as comfy as tennis shoes. Got em for Xmas. 600 dollars a pair. I'm afraid to walk on anything or introduce them to the elements. mostly cowboy boots and nikes/pumas.
