Great shoes but they are more expensive than a nice pair of leather shoes with decent foot support. I have wanted to buy some for a while but I can't see paying that much for canvas and rubber. One thing I'll say about 'em, and probably one of the biggest reasons why they're still around, is that that canvas and rubber holds up like a mother! The little black pinstripe around the sole will peel off eventually, but other than that, you couldn't {censored}ing kill a pair of Chucks if you tried! My new favorite brand is Tom's, that's the company that gives a pair of shoes to kids in need whenever a pair is ordered. Plus they're very comfy.
