Sorry, didn't mean to misinterpret.

I still don't get how labour are right wing. I've heard that before, but I still don't get how.

They are not right wing but there policies have shifted towards center right. were they were more center left before, I come from a very political family so I cant help but notice this kind of stuff.

Nope, we're running out of easily available oil. There is lots of shale oil and other high environmental factor oil but that stuff is nasty nasty {censored} and its hard, damaging and time consuming to get it into a usable product. Very much a case of water water everywhere but not a drop to drink.

The fuel at the pumps today most likely came from oil extracted a year ago (or at least something close to that time frame). Prices should come down in the next few months if there is any justice. Whether or not they do is another matter as the compensatory side of the financial buffering isnt really on the side of the end user.

People dont like nuclear power. Thats pretty much our option.

Thanks for the info! For the record, I'm all for nuclear; I just want to know that competent and well educated people are running the show. Not some disgruntled arsehole who got thrown off benefits or some Romanian bloke with a vague grasp of English and a stolen National Insurance number.

Guess that's a no from me then whilst Gordy is still in power...

That might have been when the Tories were speaking sense which resonated with most British workers and ol' Gordy said "Oh yea, we totally meant that the whole time. Yea, we thought of that!"

Seems to be labour policy to make out like they're in some way competent!

C'mon, leave the thinly veiled racism to the americans ;)

The best bet, and I know this is something we're looking at doing, is to get the french in on it. Their national facility is {censored} hot. Ah the price of doing things 1st haha.

It what was is it not the truth? If most other trades are anything to go by, that's pure truth right there.

As long as it is {censored} hot, I could cope with a french accent lol! Especially if it created the job opportunities the UK sorely needs! They'd certainly get a CV off of me!

Damn, you brits got cheap cars and bonkers fuel prices. Fuel prices are a bit in between the US and UK here, but our cars costs almost twice as much as in the UK. A Fiat 500 is almost 14-15.000 UK pounds here. Then add to that a MONTHLY car tax of probably 100-150 pounds.

And here, unless you live in one of 4(!!) major cities, you cannot live without a car. You just cant.

This is why we should all vote labour, even the hardline tories (like myself).

If tories win this time, all that will happen is the thick people of Britain with their open-mouthed vacant gaze will just buy the socialist bollocks of "These guys are no better" or when tough times call for tough measures and we might have to ya know maybe pay off our national debt rather than fund an after-school club in Chutley Heath, have these slackers spouting off things like "These guys are even worse!"...

Yup, people of Britain are too thick to realise a recovery process takes more than a few weeks. Labour's policy of spending out of recession is a nightmarish fallacy, but I think it's needed to reinforce what a collosal {censored}up of a Government they really are - and for a long time, not a few weeks!

Labour has guided the UK into the worst recession of our times, encouraged the growth of the workshy and lazy, dissolved our education systems, made enemies of those with university education and vilified people trying to do a {censored}ing day's work. Yet we still have these hapless morons walking around who emphatically trust this one-eyed tit! Usually they're the ones in receipt of benefits I might add!

So I say, let's vote em in. Get ol' Harriet Harman on a big float to go around {censored}ing the entire country up one county at a time with ludicrous proposals, multi-million pound efforts that benefit three small woodchuck people in a cave who happen to have a culturally diverse attitude to chicken packing and in three years when even Albania is laughing and saying "Who is your daddy", we can ensure a nice long Tory Government. A good 12 years is what we need at least of proper tory leadership, with these socialist thugs heralded as the treacherous tyrants they are. The image of Gordon Brown and Tony Blair closely followed with that of Stalin and Mao.

In fact, if we could somehow surgically implant the brain of Thatcher into a prime minister's body, bring it the {censored} on!!!! It's the only way to ensure a lengthy tory government!

This is pretty interesting actually, nice to see someone else who realises that it takes time to turn a country around. I thought it was interesting when the Conservatives were well ahead in the opinion polls a few months ago that Labour were talking about passing a law requiring the deficit to be halved in 4 years. I thought to myself great, that means the next government is going to be the most unpopular in living memory because they'll need to make all the sacrifices. Then they can be voted out in 4 years and Labour can once again reap the rewards of the difficult choices made by someone else, safe in the knowlege that they'll be retired from politics by the time we all run aground again.

But back to cars... Mine cost

Fiat 500's arent all that cheap over here, plus they're mega {censored} and look camper than a camp site full of campers.

That isn't racism, buddy. It's an example. I frequently find anywhere from talking to my bank over the phone to buying my lunch in subway that the employee I'm dealing with has a lack of understanding of basic English. When people like this are getting customer facing jobs it's very annoying. I live in the country I grew up in and I don't expect to regularly have to deal with people not understanding the language I speak. I wouldn't move to France and get a job as a dentist's secretary before I could speak French...

1. stop giving cash benifits - replace with food and clothes vouchers. You want sky, beer and fags? Get a {censored}ing job.

2. Stop fighting wars - sort out your own country first.

3. Cut immigration right down. There's to many people here for the public services to handle and we're loosing our national identity.

4. get rid of all the stupid PC ideas and "cultural coheshion" bollocks.

I could go on but I'll stop there. Unless there are some serious changes in the UK I'm off.
