I think that's generally were solid state falls flat...But, those mid-gains are not like any solid state I've heard before, so they may be able to do a high gain version just fine! I'm in no way affiliated with them or anything. Just saw the clips and discussion at TGP, thought it was a cool product and decided to start a thread here because of that. It is NOT digital in any way. Its all analog and believe me.. I would totally tour with this amp and I would take it over 80% of the tube amps I have tried.
