I was delighted that my Vox AC4TV kept up with his volume. It wasn't super-clean, but it sounded yummers. Crunchy like snack foods that are extra-crunchy. If you're looking into a tele that is tastefully "ditressed" looking and sound and play very well, look into K-Line. I actually have new pickups and a vintage bridge in that now. Custom BG A5 bridge and custom BG neck. They are both one-off's for the most part from him, but I know he has made a couple other A5's.
