Members Say Ocean
And I mean cheap. Got some projects going here at school and I just can't jive with digital after all. There's a studio on campus so I really want a cheap low wattage amp to throw down tracks or jam. I'll need clean and distorted but I don't care if it's a one channel I have boosts and all that. What should I get? Tried out the new VHT classic 6 or whatever, it was okay and $300. I'd say classic 30 but I need less than 30 watts.

Members Say Ocean
Looks like there's a blackheart 112 within an hour's drive for $275 supposedly mint. Is that a good deal or should I ask him to bump it down to $250?
Members Skunx
That pico valve from jet city looks pretty cool. I'd like to try one of those out with a decent 6v6.

Members PopsBdog
I've been looking at these Bugera's. I hear good things about them. Members thefyn
If you are handy with amps/solder iron etc: I can sell you my crate vintage club 20 for $135 shipped. It has some jack issues and squeals when you dont have a guitar plugged into it. It was converted from a combo to a head. And the head shell is awful quality. Clip: http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10102852 It needs some TLC, but it is amazing. Do a search for crate vintage club 20 and you will probably unearth me loving the {censored}e out of it. Members grunge782
Tweaker or HT-20 is what I can think of. You are looking for a combo correct? This gets incredible cleans and bluesish tones for the money, but it won't get you drive tones. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Champion-600-5W-1x6-Combo-Amp?sku=485054 This will get you great drive tones but the cleans are lacking- http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Jet-City-Amplification-JCA2112RC-20W-Tube-Guitar-Combo-Amp?sku=583601 I can't think of anything for 300 and under that gets great cleans and drive tones besides a used Peavey classic. Maybe the Bugera V22, but I wasn't a fan of the drive tones tbh.

Members Jack Tone
I've got a modded Epi Valve Jr, AC4TV, JCA20H, and Picovalve, and what I would suggest you try, (puts flame suit on), yeah, I know it's digital, is the new Fender Mustangs.
