Members the_gunslinger
My vote would go to Dehumanizer. Goddamn, what an album. Pretty much any Dio era album gets my vote tho.
Members thenakedarab
If we're talking vocal performance I'd have to agree it's between Heaven and Hell and Born Again. I'll take the writing on the first 4 albums over everything else though.
Members oryan
When it comes to Dio-era, Mob Rules over Heaven and Hell for me..........but, my all time fav Sabbath album is Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

Members Zeppelin Rules
No matter how much of a washed up joke Ozzy may be today, every track on the first 4 Sabbath records is awesome.
Members Cold Gin
That's easy. Headless Cross. Tony Martin = one of the best vocalists in Metal evar!! Dio era Black Sabbath is very underrated too.
Members Mesa/Kramer
I'm going to say heaven and Hell, but................................. Tony Martin who sang on 4 or 5 Sabbath records is probably one of the most underated singers of all time. 1HIlFxTnUM4

Members Wicked_Tone
Honestly, my vote goes for Born Again. The first time I heard Zero the Hero I shat myself. +1 Ian Gillan was wicked in Sabbath. This was probably the last of his extreme high soaring vocals recorded, as once he reunited with Purple a year or two later his voice was on a decline as far as those highs he used to reach through his belting vocal technique. He still is a great singer, it's just that he can no longer push his voice like the old days.

Members Sheik_Yerbouti
For any question about greatness for which one of the possible answers is Dio, the answer is ALWAYS Dio.
Members Musicscotty
That's a tough question but IMHO the Sabbath album with the best vocals is .... Sabotage. Every track is perfectly executed - vocals included.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MIOipUnBAYhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wugmHtUlA8&feature=related I didn't consider any other singer apart from Ozzy, although I do have a liking for Dio's vocals. Members Rameumptom
i think that'd be 'black sabbath'. This. Such a great album. For me, it's easy to forget that this was in the 60's during the flower crap the beatles were putting out.
Members Guitarist+
This. Such a great album. For me, it's easy to forget that this was in the 60's during the flower crap the beatles were putting out. I am not asking which album was the BEST, I am asking which had the BEST VOCALS. If it were a question of the album as a whole, and not just a vocals, my answer would not be Born Again (even though its probably in my top 3)
Members Dolf
The ones with Ronnie James Dio. That being said, Dio with Sabbath was not Sabbath. That is all.
