Members Murdoch
Still alive and goddammiting, thanks for the concern. And yes, I do have power. But there are thousands of people within a hundred miles of here who have lost everything they have. I am a very, very lucky person.

Members Murdoch
There was a town called West Liberty, which is ~50-60 miles from here. It was hit with an F2 tornado on Wednesday, then hit again on Friday with an F3. The entire town is pretty much destroyed.
Members rushtallica
I'm sorry to hear what happened around there but am glad you're okay. tornados can definitely be brutal. My mother left a diner 15 minutes before a tornado destroyed it and killed a number of people, and my family was lucky to avoid a tornado that flattened most of the houses around but only tore off some bricks of ours when I was a kid. One tornado carried away and killed my old roommate's grandfather, so she took the sirens seriously every time they went off.

Members framushead
Those pictures of west liberty were unreal... Our local news is about an hour or so away. Just unreal.. I know the terrain in that general region. Have living in a bottom in paintsville when I was younger.. I witnessed a tornado myself. Glad to hear your ok.
