Members MattACaster
If you want a 1x12 why not ditch the cab and get a 1x12 instead.
Members samzadgan
Well, when I compare the ht5 combo to my setup, my one was louder and I put it down to the 2x12 cab...so I think I would get a little quieter but also the space issue is another thing that I need to consider. I guess out of those options the Laney is the only one that I could get quiet based on the

The speaking in the HT5 combo sucks while the ones in your Orange cab are awesome and probably much more efficient.

Members thenakedarab
What you want is headphones bro. Get a decent modeler pedal and some decent phones, and that would suit your needs far better than anything else.
Members madryan
awesome but will not solve his issues. I can play it with my 2yo in the room next door with the door open and not wake him up. The Thiele cab is tiny.
Members SnowStorm
Headphones. At that low of volumes, yes a modeler or solid state would probably be way better for you. As suggested, the new Yamaha TR10 looks pretty sweet.

Members peavey_impact
HT-1 seems like the obvious downgrade from the HT-5. But you won't get "a good amount of headroom" at that low wattage
Members chad_sux
Turn the cab on it's end to make more space??? Unless you just really want something new, I don't see why you would need to change from what you have.
Members Mesa/Kramer
Downgrading due to size?? Do you live in one of these? If you love your current amp, the "only" sensible answer, in all reaality, is that: "You already have what you want". But if the OCD is over taking you, then buy the matching Blackstar 1x12 cab. Downgrading a 5 watt amp for less power is just plain silly (Turn down the volume knob instead)

Members diocide
Headroom and low volume don't mix. Find a low wattage amp that likes pedals. I have a Class 5 combo that loves OD and fuzz pedals. My Musket sounds killer through it.
