Members Canadian Jeff
You do know the customers pick the cosmetic options for each build, right? Doesn't matter when every single body shape and headstock option is an ugly one.
Members chrispsullivan
I hope they start offering that headstock on all models.
Members ke2
An all-black with black hardware and hardtail would be a perfect workhorse.Carvins are nice guitars, if you consider it as getting a tool you're going to use, and not an investment. Members ke2
And their pickups are in most cases meh. Very bland and generic.

Members Cliff Fiscal
And their pickups are in most cases meh. Very bland and generic. Really? I've liked the few that I've tried......of course, there's minimal info out there on the pickups.......so you kind of have to try a few to find the right one for your guitar. I assume most grab whatever is hot and throw it into whatever, not considering how pickups respond to the guitar they are in.
Members tedmich
headstock is straight string, and that's all a player needs. You guys wanted a Moderne? SS frets $789 You want an flippable investment? Buy stock. You want to play? Buy a Carvin
Members Crunchtime
So for around $1000 you can have a USA made neck-through with stainless steel frets, Sperzel locking tuners, German Floyd with locking nut, Straplocks, and hardshell case. {censored} the haters. I challenge you to find those specs on any guitar from any country at that price. Also, if that headstock said Jackson or ESP far less people would have a problem with it's look. Also, I really want to try the new Carvin active pickups. They may kick serious ass. Of course, they will be hated here.
Members Dolf
I'm not saying it isn't a great guitar I'm saying I'd never play it ever.

I have built many a Carvin with their guitar-builder app, but there's not a one that I feel is worth ordering.

Members BrendanO
If you played mine, I believe you would change your mind. I've played many Carvins, basses and guitars. They're a solid choice, no doubt, but I haven't found one that I prefer to another brand or model.

Taste, man The Carvins I've tried have all been great players, but I didn't really dig the pickups. Different strokes etc..

Members guitarbilly74
I like it. Then I tried to go on the Carvin site and spec one the way I'd want it and it would cost $1500. So no thanks. But still, it's a cool guitar. The options add up quick though
