Members Cliff Fiscal
I've had both good and bad luck with GC online used. The bad have been mostly items not as described.Paying for the actual shipping is a bitch too.

Just FYI It can also occur if the item was originally purchased from one store and then returned to another store. I did have this happen once, but then I used the "old-skool" method of picking up the phone and calling they were able to make the sale quickly. Yup, in fact, I did this just Monday...found an item, searched by item number nothing came up...Called the store and they still had it in stock, and just explained that it was a return from another store...Boom shipped out. Guitar was shipped for 10 bucks...You can negotiate shipping if you talk to the store too. He said he was going to charge me 20 bucks, and I was like, that seems steep, can you do 10? He said, "Sure man"
Members Dr.Picklebottom
yeah, i call the store every time and if they quote me some crazy shipping price i normally either offer half (and they usually accept) or ill have them ship it to a store a few miles away for free and i pick it up. Members nightflameauto
My wallet HATES the GC used site. Best Bass I've owned came from there along with a couple mapz and a guitar or two. All at ridiculous low prices. I always feel bad for the people that were monetarily raped for my later pleasure by trading or selling there, but I still buy.

Members SnowStorm
{censored}, there are some sweet deals on some sweet G&L's.
Members Ovid9
I've gotten a couple things from the GC used site. Pretty good deals both times. I dunno if billy's cheap shipping has to do with him being in the LA area or something but it was still only like $20 to have an amp shipped to me. Every used G&L I've run across at my local GC has played like a wet dream. They're usually priced stupidly well, too. Very bad for my wallet. Members djs7685
I'm not sure if it has anything to do with a special shipping offer right now, but everything I'm putting in my cart to check out is giving me $12.50 to ship it to my house no matter what it is. Everything from a guitar to an oversize 412 cab
Members vbshredder
Yup, and you can often find exactly what you are looking for given the huge nationwide inventory. My shipping charges on a full sized 4x12 were around $20 if i remember correctly. Good stuff.
