His whole idea of ripping the windscreen off microphones because it prevented him from getting the diaphram close enough to the speaker to pick up the "true" tone and his utter insistance that any air involved at all was counter to good tone was where it all fell apart. He could have been a lot better off if he'd just say he made a new kind of cabinet because he thought it was cool and stopped attacking the idea of the 4x12 or 2x12 every time he posted. Yep.Agreed. But to be fair, the recording was close miked. Cab didn't matter a ton the way we had it set up. I hated the thing, but did my best to be nice, and as objective as possible in the review. Most of you guys probably don't remember, but Joey was a troll over at the Line 6 forums a looonnngg time ago. At that time, his invented persona was completely different than it is now. After that, he disappeared for a bit and then came back with his current persona - the dumb guy trying to make a ridiculous product for which there is no need or market. It's an act, and it always has been. He was apparently into it enough to even buy a NAMM both. When you take trolling to that level, I would say the guy suffers from some mental disorders.
