I always dedicate a seemingly large percentage of my build budget on the power supply. It keeps the rest of your rig healthy, and a 50 dollar savings can cost you hundreds later on if it fails hard. I could never dish out that kind of cash for a video card personally, but if you can swing it and have no issues dropping that kind of coin...rock it!
