I didn't want to go to dark because the pattern pics don't show any contrast in the dark pattern on maury's website, and they don't offer returns on the pickguards. The Grover Stay-Tites look like just the ticket (I don't feel like springing for Waverly's), but the screw hole placement is different, and so far I'm too lazy to commit to filling the old ones and drilling new ones.
