Members kujozilla
I know it's a student model, but I want another beater and the price is right, but I kind of would like to know a model number or something about it.

Members 23miles
It is about as cool as the Telecoustic: Would it be as functional?
Members takanick
That looks way bad ass. Love color and everything about it. Wonder how it plays though
Members Terry Allan Hall
Not much bass response, I'm guessing...might sound OK plugged in, if it had a good p/u. Looks like the neck is bolt-on, so the action will be easy to adjust.
Members Pine Apple Slim
Id like to slap a P90 on that.
Members Terry Allan Hall
Id like to slap a P90 on that.Might be a good choice...otoh, that pickguard has got to go, and a pin-bridge is also worth considering.Likely make a good candidate for JJ Cale mojoing... Members acousticdepot
that pickguard has got to go Looks like it is screwed on ... you'd have to fill in the holes, or screw in some volume and tone knobs.
Members DeepEnd
It is about as cool as the Telecoustic: Would it be as functional? I was thinking Ibanez Talman but yeah, something along similar lines. Worth picking up for $60.
Members Pine Apple Slim
Seriously, where can you get one of these for $60?I want a cheapo modding platform acoustic for some mad scientist experiments.
Members frankthomson
id leave the screwed-on pickguard, on
Members Samilyn
Definitely possesses a certain degree of coolness and the 60-clam price makes it even more appealing.
Members Terry Allan Hall
Looks like it is screwed on ... you'd have to fill in the holes, or screw in some volume and tone knobs.Or just make a larger, glued-on one...that'd be what I'd do.Doubt it cost much more than $125 brand new, if that much. OTOH, it DOES looks like it'd be ideal for some mad scientist mojo!
Members Tony Burns
Funky , 60 bucks isnt bad -but im betting its sound is not that great .If your comparing it to the telecustic -they were terrible , maybe better yet save your money for something a few rungs up the ladder . Members Pine Apple Slim
Don't care about the pick guard. The screwed down thing is funky fine. As long as the neck is decent, and can be set up to play.I want to butcher the thing anyway.I want to experiment with some different electric pickups, old Teiscos, cheap strat or tele pups, poss P90 or a Charlie Christian.Poss replace the bridge with a Floating Fishman w/built in piezo & pre.A bunch of chicken head knobs and switches. Members kujozilla
It was on craigslist. I decided it wasn't worth the drive. Here around Atlanta deals like that one are a dime a dozen. I pick my battles wisely. My guitar room is almost full as it stands.
