Members mbratch
A matter of personal taste. You'll probably get nearly as many different answers as replies. I use D'Addario.

Members tom_s252
Just put a set of La Bella 10-48s on my Les Paul, and I'm liking them at the moment. They've only been on about 8 hours though, so time will tell how good they are.
Members Mazi Bee
I've been using Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky 9-46s for the last few months and I dig em.
Members Picker
My favorite are DR Pure Blues.... I use 11's."In the DR tradition of using old style construction to improve modern performance, PURE BLUES electric guitar strings are designed with pure nickel wrap wire, round wound upon round cores. While this is a slow, expensive method of string making, it does produce a string acclaimed for increased sustain, vintage tone, and great low tones for playing rhythm to lead. The extra step of winding pure nickel around a round core gives the PURE-BLUES a punch that players say they are surprised to get in a vintage string. Sounds great on any vintage guitar!! Note new box and color!! "
Members Ancient Mariner
DR pure blues and Tite fits would be my faves, followed by the D'Addarios. I'm a recent DR convert, having used D'Addarios for the last 12 or 13 years (before that Fender rock'n'rolls).

Coated strings are a way better value than uncoated strings. They last many times longer and play better, for twice the price of regular good quality strings. Members solitaire
Dean Markleys are great for the money. These are among the cheapest non-budget sets available here. Don't have a US price quote though.
