Members Jkater
Originally posted by Shocker You speak Japanese, too? //S I don't. But I used to play Go and Shogi (japanese "chess") with a good japanese friend and he beat the crap out of me every single time. Back on topic, that Yamaha site is very interesting. they have good (mostly color) photos of numerous models they've made over the years and the model numbers are in readable font. I also wish the descriptions were not only in Japanese but from the photos, one can see how they evolved over the years, from the B&W photos of the very early models Geddins so wisely picked for his post (not quite sure what his intent was) to the great guitars that opened the eyes of the world in the 70's to the quality of the japanese guitars makers. To me, it's also an overview of the experience of Yamaha in building electric guitars over 50 years. It"s a good site for Yamaha fans.
