I've got an old $75 Alamo semi-hollow that does the HighLonesome sound better than any Fender or Gretsche could hope to do!

Members docjeff
I just sold off a bunch of cheap guitars (Dano, DeArmond, Hamer MIK, Godin Radiator, etc.). So, at the moment, my cheapest guitar would be my 1986 '52 Tele RI--one of the first ones out of the Corona plant. I bought it at GC in Covina, CA. The salesman thought it was a Squier and I got it for $300 (no case or case candy). The next day I called Fender, and they shipped me all of the case candy (6 piece bridge, ashtray, paperwork, etc.) for free. I picked up a Fender tweed case at another shop for $50. Stuff like that doesn't happen to me anymore:-(
Members NoirAbattoir
I've got an MIJ Mann Melody Maker I bought for $300 bucks a couple weeks back. I put a couple of Little 59s in it and it rocks like a mother{censored}er...
Members 's mel gibson
My cheapest are Fender Talons. with Floyds. 2 of 'em. One for $210 and one for $265cdn. They are great! But I'd still rather play my 78 LP Standard or 88 ES 345(Lucille)

Members Axemeister
I sniff a cork or two, and own some nice high end guitars, but I have a flock of less costly guitars, including a ProTone Strat, and a couple of modded MIM Strats that are incredible players. Members surfcat
I just realized all my guitars are US made. Man, I'm a corksniffer. My next one will probably be made in Korea though-if I get a reso. My cheapest one is a Baby Taylor-$260.

Members orourke
Not including the vintage guitars that I've gotten for free (like a '72 Tele Deluxe or my 1959 Grestch) . Probably the cheapest guitar that I've paid money for is my Kelly StratoTele dano copy. I got it for fifty bucks and a haircut (I cut hair for a living and I know the builder Rick Kelly so we make a deal). It's a pretty good guitar, the late Allen Woody (Gov't Mule, Allman Bros.) used to play one sometimes. It's the one on the bottom:

Members gtrdave
'86 ESP 400 Series strat w/ Duncans It's hardly "cheap" (compared to crap made today) and since my wife bought it for me almost 20 years ago, I find it priceless.
