Members guitarcapo
That pickup ring needs to be black. A black Sharpie and some clear gloss Krylon acrylic would fix that.

Why would anyone with a bit of sense color a gretsch pickup ring?

Members nevermind
That looks a lot better. How does it play? Thanks, hard to believe what a little cleaning and rewiring will do. It plays really well. The action and neck relief are perfect. I did have to reglue and sand a couple inlays, but otherwise it was just cosmetics and electronics needed. I knew it needed work when JJ went to get it, so the only concern was that it play really well. I sorta used your pristine stratotone as a guide for the switch and knob styles. Members littlemilo
That looks great! Floating bridges with a trapeze tailpiece can make for a very resonant guitar. Stew-mac has a tuneomatic style floater that might work on that if you want to get more exacting with the intonation. Did you cut that pickguard? A little chunk of leftover material might work as a truss rod cover. Nice work...I'll bet that thing sings with that filtertron!
