Members Barryj61
Still for sale! - Price lowered Everyone can use a nice bass, and this is a good one that's getting pretty difficult to find. This is one of the original SGC Nanyo Bass Collection active 4 string basses made in Japan during the early 90's - not to be confused with the later Korean production, or the even later 'revived' Bass Collection brand name (now made in China and distributed by Rondo Music and others). This is a good choice for someone who needs to cover a lot of ground - it's equipped with both P and J pickups and a 9V powered preamp. The controls are master volume, treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut, and pickup pan; the latter 3 controls all have a center detent to make it easy to find the 'neutral' spot. Standard 34" scale, jumbo frets with little wear, and a pretty beefy neck profile - it's not quite vintage P-bass size, but darn close. The wood grain and general heft leads me to believe that the body is ash; also has a thick slab rosewood fretboard. Very cool recessed jack that points up - makes it easy to route your cable through your strap. Gotoh tuners do an excellent job of keeping it in tune. It's in very clean condition, but not perfect - has a small dent on the upper bout, and a scrape near the treble control knob. A few very fine clear coat scratches on the back. Comes with a nice Fernandes gig bag. I've got pretty much every square inch photographed at the link below, but I can always take more pictures if needed. I'll regret this later, but hey, things happen. $250 shipped/insured/Paypalled. Members cobrahead1030
alright, i've finally bit the bullet and decided i've got more gear than i have time to enjoy anymore...as much as i love having all this stuff, the truth is i'm so busy i don't even have time to touch half of it, so it's time to liquidate mesa halfback 2x12 with mc90's: decent condition, the tolex is pretty beat up but it's pretty solid all around...i don't know what these usually go for, i'm thinking around $350-400 shipped (depending on your location) mesa open back 1x12 with warehouse CL80 clone: pretty good condition, a few spots in the tolex, and the boogie logo is missing...i'm thinking somewhere around $180-200 shipped for this one esp/ltd mv200 w/bkp holy diver and jb jr: very cool/rare guitar...mahogany body w/flame veneer, bolt on maple neck, rosewood board 24.75" scale...pretty good shape, a few knicks and dings but not beat up too badly...probably around $300 shipped on this one (the two pickups alone would be nearly $250 new!) esp/ltd mv300 w/emg hz's: neck thru version of the above...some of you may remember i bought this one on e bay a while back and the trussrod was disconnected, i sent it back to the place and as far as i can tell it was fixed...to be honest it's a decent guitar and sounds good, but it doesn't play quite as well as my other mv300 and i can't say if the truss rod issue had something to do with that...this one is good shape with a few scratches etc. i paid $275 shipped for it, and i'd like to get somewhere around that (these are damn near impossible to find!) esp/ltd ec1000 trans. red with emg 81/60: not sure if i wanna sell this one, it's brand new and in perfect condition...i've played a lot of these and this one has a killer neck and great action, i wasn't really looking for one of these but i played it and fell in love...i'm thinking around $725 + shipping on this one (that's about $100 less than new) washburn wg587 7 string: it's gunmetal grey but it looks more of a silver, excellent condition...nice playing cheap 7 string with grover tuners...$125 shipped squier 51: SOLD peavey 5150 sig head: another one i'm really not sure i wanna ditch...it's got some spots in the tolex but is in good condition overall, has a set of JJ power tubes which are probably a year and a half old but haven't seen much use at all and have plenty of life left in them...i've got a laney footswitch that works fine i can include...$625 shipped m audio fast track usb preamp: the 1/4" input (for a pod or something) does not work! it never has since i bought it a few years ago...the xlr/mic input and headphone out work perfectly tho, great cheap home recording setup! i'm pretty sure i have the box, manual, cd, etc. that came with it...$40 shipped i may have some more stuff, there are some random pics below and i'll get some more detailed ones soon...i'll think about trades on some of it, but could really use the cash some shots of the cabs here: squier: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v130/channelx1/s51.jpg mv200 *with old pickups* http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v130/channelx1/mv4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v130/channelx1/mv3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v130/channelx1/mv3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v130/channelx1/mv1.jpg you can see the mv200 and 300 some more here...the 200 is the bolt on with pickup in front, the 300 is the neck thru with no strings; they're both blue, the orange one isn't for sale http://disvisioned.net/clips/gear/espz10.jpg http://disvisioned.net/clips/gear/espz7.jpg http://disvisioned.net/clips/gear/espz5.jpg
Members Teh Bacons
Here's an absolute mint Epiphone Valve Junior Head. I love this thing, I just need something with a little more juice...so it has to go. The only things that I've done to it are the 'backwards' mod (easily undone), and replaced the tubes with JJ's. Will come with the power cable, and the manual...everything but the original box. 90 bucks via paypal will have this on it's way to you. I'm open to trades...so don't be afraid to pass them by me. Members FearTheVoices
slight nickReason I may sell, I bought the guitar blindly with to much gas a few years ago, just had to have an LP, I hate small frets and the fast neck, although I do love playing this i'd rather have the standard neck instead of the 'fast neck":cool:Frets leveled 3 months ago, tons of life left
Members Rushfan2112
First off, this isn't mine, it's a friend's. It's a pre-Fender Gretsch 6118 (so it's pre-2003, but I think it's from the 90s) in green, with an aftermarket Bigsby professionally installed by a top quality luthier around here. Also professionally installed are two TV Jones classic pickups and all new electronics. It plays and sounds wonderful, but he's more interested in a semi-hollow than a fully hollow guitar. If you've got a Epiphone Elitest Riviera and want to sell it or trade it, contact me anyways. Otherwise, if you're interested in this guitar please contact me via PM, IM, email or just reply to the thread. I'll discuss a price with him soon. Price: $1350 shipped Here are some pics: Nothing really close up, but I can get those pics to you in a few days once Josh takes them. Any questions, please ask 'em! I picked this up at Daddy's in Boston about 2 years ago now, and it's definetly been played A LOT. I'd give it a 7/10 as far as condition. The big chips/scratches are in the pictures & has some headstock & back wear. The Serial # stamped on the neck plate is 34720. I just threw a new set of GHS Boomers GB7L set 11-58s & it's currently tuned to B. I will include a hardcase when I ship it as well. This cab has been heavily used in it's lifetime, but not abused. It is covered in blue tolex which has tons of character all over (you know what I mean). The cab is loaded with 4 UK made (not Chinese) Celestion Vintage 30s which are well beyond broken in and sound fantastic. I love this cab, but I have no need for so many cabs (I have 2 2x12s in the works). I am looking for $350 OBO pickup only in the Boston area. PM me if you're interested, I have a practice space in Allston if you want to bring your head by and give it a try.Mesa/Boogie 3 Ch Dual Rectifier Head - $1100 local Boston area I am selling this for a bandmate, it was recently serviced and retubed with Ruby 6L6s.
