Members RUExp?
i had a little problem with G.A.S last year! the only two remaining are my original '82 charvel and my '86 blue jackson. aside from those, i've owned another blue jackson h-h kahler, a white jackson h-h kahler, an ibanez 3 tite in black, a no name brand as my very first guitar, a bc rich mockingbird, a mini-les paul and i think that's it. Looks like your infested. It's better than cockroaches though.I love the blue ones.

Members toomuchgeardave
Over 90 since 1990, of course I only have 3 now. Wasted an ass-load of money over the years. To think of all the constructive things I could have done with the money just makes me sick.

Members PR_Tom
My father had me choose between 2 or 3 piece of junk guitars when I was a kid in about 1974 or so. No idea what brand it was, but it had a worthless whammy bar on it and was black to yellow sunburst. Then I had a '63 Epiphone, double cutaway, 2 tone tobacco burst. It had been setup by a local luthier with a modern double humbucker but all else original and was a beauty. Total killer feel and sound from such a humble thing. Then an Ibanez Roadstar like one Mazi Bee has pictured, blue quilted maple top, maple neck, fairly poor whammy. Didnt care for the maple neck too much, body was great though. Now my Ibanez lp custom.

Members Hush
Been playing since 1979 and I've only owned 7 electrics and 2 acoustics. It's only in the past year that 5-7 have been added. I had only one electic from 1980- 1995 and that was the S-100. I then built a strat body from a solid piece of mahogany bought a Warmoth neck and liked the result so much I pretty much stopped using the Guild. Can't remember exaclty when I picked up the Carvin must be some time in the 90s. 1. $35 used Sears Silvertone (sold to get the Guild) 2. Used Guild S-100 (Sold to get a New Tweed Blues Jr.) 3. Used Carvin DC-127 (Still have :-) 4. Home made Strat (Still Have) 5. Warmoth Strat (Still Have) 6. Used Washburn Maverick to keep at work (recently sold) 7. Used Dean Sarasota (about to be sold) 8. Once the Dean is sold a Reverend Gil Parris.

Members Motorcycle
Since I started lessons in 1964. Not a clue. There's a few I'd like back. The easier question for me is: How many have you hung onto thru the years:

Members slide13
Not that many really. First: Lotus Strat copy Second: Used Charvel Third: Homemade oddity...mustang-esque body, couple of humbuckers, etc. Fourth: 1996 Fender Strat Plus (bought it new and still my main guitar...just put in Texas Specials last night) Fifth: Alvarez acoustic (still have it and still my main acoustic) Sixth: Carvin DC127. Great guitar, got rid of it but not because I didn't like it. That is it....six guitars over 14 years. I really should expand my horizons. I think a Tele and a LP or SG are in order one of these days.

Members ej
I started on an ancient fender acoustic, lent it too a friend, never saw it or the friend again... next was my ovation, which i still own, then i got my first electric, i chinese strat knockoff which i upgraded beginning of this summer. Then i was given a Peavey T20 bass from '84 Then was my ESP F-250, and while i owned that i bought a Fender Showmaster, which i loved but i bought i used and the guy had upgraded to active electronics, and when he sold it to Dave Philips (where i bought it from) he changed it back to the stock pups but not stock wiring. It sounds really weird because of it, so i returned it. Wish i hadnt and just had bought new electronics for it, oh the regrets lol. Then i sold my F250, was given an Ibanez S470dx, then i sold that and bought my SZ520. So i've owned (bold ones i still have) Fender AcousticOvation CelebrityMy (now) PartsocasterPeavey T20 LTD F250 Fender Showmaster Ibanez S470Ibanez SZ520
Members fuzztone
When I was 12 in 1965 I got a Harmony archtop with an electric pickup and later that year a cheapo electric which broke the 1st time I played it.I 1966 I got a Teisco Del Ray which I gave away when I went to college. In 1978 Inspired by The Sex Pistols I bought a Les Paul Custom(copy)but I gave that one away also.In 2004 I found a Crate CR112 amp at a thrift store for $50 and bought a cheap strat copy to go with it. That is when I had the misfortune to discover the band of enablers here at HCEGF. Since then I have bought and sold over 50 guitars Right now I only have 4 of them left but it was fun playing them while I could.
