It was a late 80s Fenix, a guitar I believe you don't really get in the US. Do they feel very different to play? Yngwie emulates Ritchie Blackmore in most of what he does, as far as rock goes... he's even hired Ritchie's former guitar techs & singers! I describe playing without/with scallops like this - it's the difference between sliding on the ice in your shoes, and sliding on the ice with ice skates. by the way, an Yngwie style scallop is different from the Blackmore scallop.
