Members the stranger
I don't have a job..I love what I do!!!! Chuck Still lurking around picking up customers, eh? _~ What's funny is I'm about 3 hours away from SW. And if I was about half that distance away, I would have tried to get on at Sweetwater years ago. I just don't think I can make that level of commitment to the job and commute 6 hours a day! CMS Author MikeRivers Posted March 5, 2007 CMS Author Share Posted March 5, 2007 My home is here in California or else I'd probably be sending in an application as well!!! I knew someone who worked there (as an inside sales consultant or whatever they call them) and he told me that he had to wear a suit even when he was at his desk on the phone all day. I haven't worn a suit in about 30 years. No reason to start now that I'm retired.

One click in the wrong place and you've added someone to your buddy list.

It has loads of people on it,..only about 7 I know,.. the other names I never seen show up in a thread. Sweetwater doesn't require suits...never have ..and I doubt if we ever will. That being said, our folks are professional and most of our people tend to dress a little more professionally. We don't allow the typical local music store attire...i.e. t-shirts and ripped jeans (unless you work in the warehouse) . Thanks for allowing me to clarify this.Chuck SurackSweetwater

I've seen ads from Sweetwater where the sales reps look like they could be working in an accounting firm. Maybe not suits, but dress pants and shirts with ties. They should try Dockers or something similar for the more business casual look. Or maybe go another route; lab coats, pocket protectors, and horn-rimmed glasses.
