Washburn HB15 Swapped original pup for Ken Armstrong. Swapped original knobs for tele-style silver ones. Currently has flats on it, but I'm going to go back to rounds to get more growl and spark. Members Stackabones Posted June 2, 2008 Author Members Share Posted June 2, 2008 How does it sound? Just took the flats off it this afternoon and put on some D'Addario XL Blues/Jazz Rock 11s. Got a bit of spark and sparkle now, though it's still a darker sounding guitar, especially through that pup in the bridge position. So far, I've just ran through my Pignose and got some grit. I need to put it through a cleaner amp to see how it goes. I think it's been over a year since I had put the flats on it. It was my last git with flats. Farewell flats.
