Holy Crap!! This is a Squier???

you know, I`ve used a Scotch Guard pad on the back of some necks to remove the sheen, tends to make the necks faster and after plating them a while they get shiny again, but in a good way I always take the necks and tuners off to do the job right.

 

 

The only thing i'd worry about is that the finish is polyester, not urethane or nitro. How will it take a scuffing, anyone?

 

I'm a member of the CV club as well. What a bang for the buck. Mine has a few buzzy spots that i'm having trouble dialing out. Bumming me out. If I can dial out the buzz, i may even spring for a set of lollars.

 

What about the saddles on this thing. They claim to be brass, right? Is the slotted saddle better or do tele guys prefer unslotted? What about the general feeling of quality of the saddles?
