Members tildeslash
Made in USA. Offset V neck that is very comfy. {censored}ty pickups and top loader bridge but that can be replaced. Loving it.
Members NOS68
Is that a speaker in there? Looks pretty cool till you get to the headstock. That thing is hideous and I thought the Gibson club foot was bad.
Members tildeslash
Not a speaker - just for looks. Actually it's chambered. The headstock goes with the whole retro vibe this oozes.
Members ten56gibby
That headstock is great! At first glance I was like "wtf" - now that I get it, very cool!
Members GreatDane
there's one that i see every once in a while on eBay that started at $700 and is down to $350 buy-it-now~ i'm glad you dig it and am happy for you; i just can't get on with the looks of it, and can't attest to it's playability. Members dcindc
These play great and I thought sounded VERY good. That "crappy bridge" is the upgrade to a Squier 51. Good luck finding something. The only thing that comes to my mind is the Mighty Mite blocky hardtail.HNGD!
Members tildeslash
I might make this a string through body bridge. Yeah it's won't be original but it's an improvement. Besides I wanna play it and make it playable - not keep it in the closet.

Members dcindc
I might make this a string through body bridge. Yeah it's won't be original but it's an improvement. It's not a guaranteed improvement. It might make no difference at all. And I personally wouldn't go messin with a USA Lindert.
Members tildeslash
Here is the problem. Take a look at the pictures. The saddles are facing all the way down and I can't get the action any lower. Currently in this position the action is very high. So even if I replace the saddles that are skinnier than the string angle over the saddles are going be virtually non-existence. This is due to the string hole on the back being too high or nearly parallel to the top of the saddle height. Typically the saddles are breaking the horizontal plane and pointing up and not down as it is in this case.So my only choice is to replace the bridge. Right? Members dcindc
Somethings wrong. Shim the neck with a thick pick under the heel of the neck towards the bridge. And tighten the neck screws. Bridge repl won't fix this. If this is beyond you, you can ship it to me and I'll straighten it out for you.
Members tildeslash
I was hoping I don't have to shim the bridge. I understand the concern about making a modification to a collectable (my opinion) guitar but won't shimming reduce the contact surface area the neck is making with the body. Won't this reduce sustain and/or something else? I really appreciate your responses and I listen with an open mind so please don't hold back. Members Brendan
Got a bench grinder? Or a vice with a big flat file? Remove each saddle and take out the height adjustment screws. Grind or file off a few MM from the bottom of the contact surface on each saddle.
