Members Dr. Tweedbucket Posted May 30, 2019 Members Share Posted May 30, 2019 I've been wanting one of these for a while and found one that was pretty clean. It's the Vox Heritage AC15TV1L mahogany. They only made 500 in the mahogany and I think the wood enhances the tone (much like void free baltic birch in it's own way). It sounds like a million bucks both straight in raw and with pedals. It's great with humbuckers or single coils. I was in a band a while back and one of the guys played through one... I always thought his tone was awesome and after having this for a week, I'm pretty stoked. One input side runs an EF86 tube and the other is like the old top boost with the 3 12AX7s.
