Members BeanoBoy
Sable Dance, for me, is an acquired taste. Love Dave Edmunds though. Saw him with Ringo Starr here in the States. Besides his usual Rockabilly/Country stuff he paired with Jack Bruce for some very convincing Clapton/ Cream guitar playing.
Members badpenguin
Yeah, Most definitely not his best... BUT, it did remind me of thread from a few weeks ago about where tone comes from. If I didn't see the vid, I would have KNOWN it was Dave Edmunds, just from the tone of his playing. Whether it's this 335, or his Danelectros, you KNOW it's Dave!
Members Emory
I was lucky enough to see him at Marquee Club in London in 69 with his group Love Sculpture. Knew nothing of him, and being 19, wanted to see what that seminal place was like. Chops.... besides typical blues etc also did "Mars" from Holst's "The Planets". Members ido1957
Played a few of his tunes in the 70's along with Rockpile and the like. Was big into British at the time.
Members wankdeplank
Didn't really know he could play like that. Always associated the name with rockabilly. I guess I always got him confused with his accomplice, Nick Lowe who was more of a producer and Svengali for Elvis Costello early on.
