  • Looking for 60's semi hollow...

    Anyone know some 1960's semi or hollow body electrics that are 24.75 scale?

    I know Gibson and Gretsch are... what else is out there?

    Are the old Hagrstoms 24.75 scale?

    Did Vox ever make make a short scale?

      Guild. The Starfire IV,V,VI are semi-hollow.

          Guild , Mosrite, Micro fret,Epihpone and Gibson.Fender also made some there are others but I can't recall all of them.

              I was wondering the same thing. Especially if talking Gretsc. Modern gretsches are pretty much the best Gretsch guitars out there.

                            They made good and bad guitars in every decade.


                            Yea, ownhave owned a bunch.... 2 from the 70's, 4 from the 80's and 5-6 from the 90's.... Some better than others. I know a lot of people like the 80's Japanese guitars, but I haven't played one I like. I am sure there are some great finds out there, but I would rather just look for a 60's built guitar
