  1. Do you really think some guy who's been driving a suck car 3 million miles is going to listen to reason now? Exactly, but thruth be told its a well engineered automobile.
  2. here's a thought why don't you actually add something to the place like doing a clip previewing some gear .... instead of talking {censored} like a little brat all the time Ha, calm down Mister Sully I am just screwin around. I think there a quirky little product, and will have there place in history. Just like a lot of the things with roots in the 80's.
  3. I only have tube amps, but your statement is just not true. Solid-state amps are light years ahead of where they were just ten years ago. Blind tests have even been conducted recently where so-called 'experts' and 'purists' would consistently get it wrong when asked, "Is it solid-state or tube?" Some of the ones I've played through recently have blown me away. The only time I can really tell a big difference currently is when overdriving little 3-5 watt tube and solid-state amps... I personally think solid state should be engineered to sound the best solid state it can .. . not to sound like tube. If you have heard those old standel amps you know what I am talking about. . . its not a tube sounding amp. . it doesnt sound like a wimpy soild state. . . its a horse of a different color.
  4. wow... you're just so controversial Yeah I am pretty edgy . .. you know man, I just live it you know. . .
  5. So do Volvos.... different strokes, yaddayaddayadda:blah: Why don't you tell that to Irv Gordan while he is driving his 1960's P1800 past the 3 million mile mark? http://www.designnews.com/article/12384-How_Irv_Gordon_Drove_his_1966_Volvo_P1800_Past_2_6_Million_Miles.php
  6. I wouldnt be caught dead playing one. But then again the only effects I used are my trusty fuzz pedal, gain boost, reverb, and the magical ingredient "talent".
  7. I love my roland cube 30x. No, it will never give the tones of a tube amp but the modelling is reasonable and so portable. For jamming with my acoustic mates its one simple grab in the car and off I go. Simple, easy, light, portable, fun and sounds pretty good to me. I don't jam with my mates, music is serious bussiness, thats why my guitar amp is gigantic.
  8. Try Axe FX or an H&K zenTera. I've had good tube amps and and the zenTera sounds better. Has all the feel too. I will not.
  9. So do pods, and digitech effects boards. And solid state amps that feature "chorus" into there built in effects.
  10. Damn you're fast Mazi! I was in the process of bannination and you swooped in before I was done!!!! Why were they band? do they work for those companies or something?
  11. I am currently constructing a guitar out of my own feces I have been collecting for the last couple years (only the really dense black ones). Its going to be called the {censored}ocaster. When I take this stuff out of the freezer and dethaw it Ill use local grasses and form it into a strat shape and let it dry in the sun, then ill laquer it and add a warmoth neck.
  12. what the {censored}? what a fun ruiner . .
  13. So after talking to this guy . .I don't think hes aware of its fakeness. He sounds like a nice old man, so i informed him of its fakeness in an email.
