Members mhuxtable
Got a guy asking $350 for a Roland Jazz Chorus JC-77 (the 2x10 model). Is that a good price, bad price, fair price?

Members Coma Larkin
Traded mine for a Pro Junior and felt good about it. Bought my 120 for $325 from a pawn shop and still felt like it was slightly overpriced.

'Xactly. They're awesome sounding amps. I'd take one for $300.
Members thegamestop
Be patient and wait for one to come around at the right price. I bought my Jc-50 for $175 after waiting a few months. Not a lot of people are looking for these amps, so you should have a lot of bargaining power when you do find one. Good Luck!

Members The Villano Dude
I would go with a 120 but mostly because "more is more."

Members bruto
I personally don't think $350 is out of line for a JC77 if it's in top shape. My local GC had one recently for $400, and they sold it within a few days. The 77 is my favorite of the whole line. I had one in my basement for a year once - wasn't mine though. It belonged to a friend who was working in Alaska at the time and traveled frequently. I like the little JC55 too although they don't surface often. In October, I bought a Peavey Studio Chorus 210 which is the poor man's JC77. Paid $130 for it, and it looks brand new. Nice amp with a great clean tone, but it's no JC77.
