Although I have to admit the clips sound nearly identical, we need more of those direct comparisons *hint*. Great job and great plaing!

Not possible, Axel - Herbert 30kms away and the two others stored safely in the cellar until I`m back

    thanks

All of those sounded absolutely great. I liked the Einstein and the Herbert both equally.

VH4 for me. Einstein is a close second. Herbie isn't really my thing.

You should edit out that a bit out of the competition line regarding your Phyton. It sounds like it keeps fine pace with the Diezels to me. Did you sell it to someone?

Very kind, thanks. But of course its in no way comparable to them, no midi, no silent switching yet (I`m working on that together with Peter), shared EQ, in no way such a good loop as Diezels - and so on. But yes, for recording this and that its a nice toy. I may consider to give it away when its completely finished though. Thanks again

Herbert/Einstein. Hard to compare because the Herbert is mixed so much louder.

                  Great job Olaf!

All the clips sounded excellent... as well as your choice of songs.

I liked the Herbert the best; no surprise. Is this the newer VH4?

I also think these clips are a very good reprenstation of what each of these amps is capable of, but bear in mind everyone, all 3 can cover a whole lot more ground as well.

Hmmm... sounds good. I really can't wait to check one out in person. I have something else incoming that I want to compare it to.

btw - how did you like my Phyton Sound - the lead circuit is SLO, the presence is SLO, just the trannies are better, they are Partridge and 35 years old

I really liked your Phyton... it screamed. It sounds like you have built yourself quite a lead monster there Olaf!!! Definitely very reminiscent of the SLO lead tone.

                          Congrats!!!

your crap playing is better than my crap playing. seriously though.. i liked the vh4 best. warm round and full. followed by einstien. not as warm as the vh4.. but i like to hear pick attack and harmonics. and then herbert. listening to the herbert clip i can tell that it's a gain monster! more focused mids. herbert really puts the mids forward. all nice amps.. and great playing olaf. you are too modest sometimes. thanks for the clips.
