  1. 2006 VH4 for 1850 Euros. Good condition. Modded for '07 specs. PM or drolafkrampe (
  2. Well, my 1959/2203 bastard is based off a Ceriatone chassis, Heyboer PT and a Diezel OT with some NOS Mustards inside and channel switching between both sounds . . . The headshell was made by Mojo-Tone or so . . .
  3. Originally posted by Peter Diezel Congratulations, we have a winner :D Btw, the Herbert has an extra frontpanel which has 4 mm aluminium. So we have 2 mm steel and 4 mm aluminium. Didn't you see all your porn Diezel pics I've posted into this thread?
  4. Steel is much more flexible than aluminum (or german aluminium). Alu shields a bit better than steel though. Although nobody would rate a Diezel "noisy" .

  8. Einstein is a feather compared to Herbie, btw
  9. Here is the steel chassis of (my) Einstein (before I added a frontplate) . . .
  10. Just for information: this is an Einstein - front and back, alu; chassis: kraut steel here`s a Herbert you can clearly see the alu/steel thing too. It holds two of the heaviests transformers in the industry . . . here`s a VH4, which is even higher

  13. Originally posted by Digital Jams I believe he is saying that when he plugs a 1/4" jack into the back the chassis moves back and forth. Saying the metal is not very thick or sturdy. Thanks Scott. @the game: Herbert f.i. has a metal chassis and alu front- and backplates. Maybe in your case your jack wasn't tight enough fixed to the alu anymore. In all seriousness I doubt that you've seen the chassis itself being flexible by plugging something into the speaker or loop jack.
  14. Originally posted by gerrekat I tested two herberts in december at beyers Musik in germany, I tested them for 2 hours and I got decent tone from them after tweaking but I got killer tone instantly from several other amps right after I plugged in. LOL

  16. I wouldn't mind (again) a 2/50/2 though
  17. Originally posted by Jack Luminous Rest assured you're not alone and we may have similar taste !! VHTs leave me cold and Diezel is OK but not for me.... Gimme a 2203 or a SLO any day !!
