Members Dave L
I thought it was about time the Rivera owners got their own club here on the forum, especially since these amps seem to get more and more attention I don
Members Rayneman
I don't have any that you mentioned, but I have a K-Tre with which I'm very happy. To be honest, I have zero experience with any other Rivera product, but judging by the amp I have, its got to be good stuff.
Members Dave L
The K-Tre seems to have gotten quite a bit of attention around here, seemingly more than the Knucklehead Reverbs and the K100. It
Members flytrapx
Another KTre owner checking in. This is my first Rivera and so far I'm very happy. Here is a previous posting I put up with a metal clip: http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1510316 The Tre can also do some pretty gnarly rock tones as well so don't be put off by the "high gain" marketing of the head. Just be sure to crank it up to at least 2 1/2 or 3 on the master to get anything monstrous going. Hey Rayneman, what speakers are in your 2x12? Members Rayneman
Hey Rayneman, what speakers are in your 2x12? I think in that pic what you see is a DSL50 which I no longer have. But live I use the K-Tre with a Mesa Recto 4x12 w/ V30s and at home I have a Marshall 4x12 with GT12-75s and V30 in a x-pattern that I primarily use. I have some 2x12s but I've grown used to the 4x12 even at home at lower volumes! I've only used the K-Tre with either the GT12-75s or V30s and it works fine with both... Yea, I have a Bogner with the crossed v30's and t75's and recently I tried replacing the 75's with 2 more v30's and it changed my tone way too much. I put the 75's back in and now I'm a happy camper. I know RonniePentatonic was going to try some Celestion cl80's in a cab with his Tre and I'm curious how that is going to sound. It's definitely something a little different than the norm. Members eyeball987
I have an M60 currently. Older model than the one pictured above (see pic) but I have also had a Knucklehead and a R30 in the past. I saw Rayneman rip through his K-Tre on accident in Cleveland about a month ago. Nice tones!
