Lol you guys are great...:)

Im thinking hard about it, there's a few Andy's on Ebay right now and usually when that happens you can snag one for ~$1500. Especially with the red one up there. (I actually like the blue better myself) I would really miss the other synths, but Id have so much sonic breadth with the Z1, K5000S, and Andromeda that Im sure I wouldnt regret it.

That's what Im saying...so are the Z1 and K5K. With those 3 and a couple good softsynths...I honestly wouldnt need anything else for a good while. Ive got my finger on the trigger for a JD-990 + VS expansion...but all Im trying to do is emulate analog synth tones - I should stop f*cking around and just get the real deal:)

:)

Ive got a friend whose in his 50's, he was an electronic musician that resided in NYC back in the early 80s and cranked out albums with a Prophet 5, PPG, Xpander, etc. His old kit list makes me cry...especially to hear he sold them all off back in the early 90's when analog went out of style!

Anyway, I sent him some samples of the Andy and he wrote back with "Dude what are you waiting for - that plus a couple good digitals and its all you'll ever need" :D

Nothing like the voice of experience :)
