Hi,

I was asked by Craig Anderton to host a video at Harmony-Central. As Craig is one of my heroes I was very flattered and was happy to accept. It's being edited as we speak and will be up shortly.

Already up is the video about highlights from day 3 where I was a guest.

Thanks Craig, for letting me hang with you guys!

Cheers,

Mats N

It was fun and yes, I'm editing the footage now...I save the videos with you for last because there's sooooo much footage.

It's good stuff, I may have to do it in several parts. Now, about Frankfurt... :)

It's done and in the Theater...under the Winter NAMM coverage, scroll down until you see "The Hall E Experience: Madness in the Basement" and get prepared for, well, 33.5 minutes of madness in the basement of NAMM.

I've asked them to change the title to "Hall E: Madness in the Basement" because the other title was too long for some browsers, so you might find it under that.

Enjoy! I had a great time doing the video with Mats.

As to having a video with a hot Latin guy...Gus, will you be at Messe? And if so, will I be able to tear you away from the throngs of adoring females long enough to do a video?

Hi,

It's sometimes funny what happens to you in life. When I started reading Guitar Player many years ago I keept seeing this guy's name, Craig Anderton, and reading his articles made me realize how little I knew. I keept reading and learning and in 1986 when I started freelancing as a music journalist I always had Craig's work as sort of a banchmark.

Fast forward to 2008 and having known Craig for some years I still read his articles (and still realize how little I really know ;) ) he asks me to do a video shoot. I'm nervous but I do it and it turns out OK.

Now in Anaheim I meet Jon Chapelle for the first time and he's a perfect gentleman and Craig and Jon invites me to a Highlights shoot and then to do a Hall E walkaround shoot. To me, being in this business, this is like winning the Nobel Prize.

Who ever thought back then that this could happen to a guy from Alings
